The contractor’s proposal desk
A roofing proposal example you can actually try.
A roofing proposal should explain the work behind the price. Use this guided review with BidGroove’s interactive sample, then apply the same checks to your own customer presentation.
No account needed to explore the fictional sample. Sample company, project and prices are demonstrations; signing is disabled. Workspace trial terms are on the pricing page.
01
Start with the property and scope
Check the customer, project address and description before comparing prices. A useful roof-replacement scope explains protection, tear-off, decking assumptions, the roofing system and cleanup. Describe unknown conditions and the process for authorizing extra work instead of presenting every possible repair as included.
02
Compare meaningful packages
Open the sample and switch between package choices. Read the differences in products, included work and coverage alongside each price. Good, Better and Best labels alone do not tell a homeowner what changes. In your own proposal, verify manufacturer and workmanship warranty language for the actual project.
03
Select an optional upgrade
Choose an available upgrade and watch the displayed total change. An optional item needs its own description, applicability and price. Keep it distinct from work already included in the selected package so the customer can understand the decision.
04
Read it as the homeowner
Review the photos, captions, terms and payment expectations together. Could someone explain the offer without your sales conversation? BidGroove supports online proposals and PDFs; the interactive sample demonstrates the online experience, with acceptance disabled.
Questions before you choose
Is this a real customer proposal?
No. The public sample uses a fictional company, project and demonstration prices. It is not a quote for your property or a signed agreement.
Do I need an account to try the example?
No. Open the interactive sample, compare packages and explore available upgrades without signing up. Create a workspace when you want to build your own proposal.
Can I use the sample prices for a job?
No. Supply your own verified measurements, quantities, costs, selling prices and project-specific terms. Demonstration prices are not a local roofing estimate.
